Realm spells

Temple and source regent can use their holdings to cast “realm spells”, magic far more powerful than anything available to normal spellcasters. Each realm spell must be researched separately.

Some examples of source realm spells:

Battle Arms
Level: Sor/Wiz 1
Source req’d: 2
This spell temporarily enchants the weapons of a military unit (up to ca. 200 soldiers), making them more deadly in battle.

Dispel Realm Magic
Level: Sor/Wiz 1
Source req’d: 1
This spell allows a mage regent to counter the effects of any other realm spell in the same manner that a greater dispel magic works against routine spells.

Ley Line Trace
Level: Sor/Wiz 1
Source req’d: 1
This spell enables a wizard to sense disturbances in the natural flow of mebhaighl such as those created by ley lines. This spell informs the caster of the ley lines that initiate in, terminate in, or pass through the studied province.

Subversion
Level: Sor/Wiz 3
By employing a magical campaign of long-distance charms and suggestions, you can utilize the assets (holdings, armies, agents, etc.) of another regent to perform a single domain action.
